Lapitec® – certified and perfect material

The NSF, a US based organization which tests consumer products for the international market, recently certified Lapitec® slabs.

The NSF mark, approved by the WHO and the FDA, is a guarantee that the product respects both quality and security standards. Lapitec® it´s represented in Portugal, Angola and Mozambique by Mercado da Pedra. Lapitec also made its way into the MIA (Marble Institute of America), the prestigious association of companies operating in the marble and stone sector.

Lapitec® is an innovative material. Available in large format slabs, is the biggest sintered stone available on the market. It provides the most suitable and diverse solutions for construction and furnishing, with the dimensions required by designers. Being a “full bodied” material it is easy to work and can be utilized in countless applications: from internal and external cladding to pavements, from kitchen tops to ventilated façades.

Lapitec® it´s easily cleaned, non-porous and therefore resistant to staining, mould and bacteria. Every slab is resistant to acids, alkalis, deep abrasions, fire, frost and is unaffected by UV rays. It´s long lasting and completely weather proof.

It is produced with maximum respect for both people and the environment. It is completely inert, containing no resins or petroleum derivatives.
